Community Health Centers of Central Wyoming is a Federally Qualified Health Center with clinics in Casper, Dubois and Riverton. We have implemented a brand new Occupational Health division. I will cover why we were encouraged to go into Occupational Medicine by a couple local businesses. I will cover the services and why they are a benefit to employers whether they are industrial, clerical or somewhere in between. We will also talk about the items we do offer and how they are saving our clients time and money. We will offer tours and some fun giveaways to the group
Cheryl Howard is the Director of Marketing for Community Health Centers of Central Wyoming. In her current role she manages communications, events, social media, and all things marketing for clinics in Casper, Dubois and Riverton.
She was born and raised in Baker, MT and graduated from Casper College with a degree in Drafting and Design. She loved the Casper area and all of Wyoming so much she hasn’t wanted to leave.
As part of her career, she was the Vice President and a lobbyist for the Petroleum Association of Wyoming. Her focus was on wildlife and public lands issues, she has been quoted in publications ranging from local news stations to national news entities, such as the Los Angeles Times and CNBC. From there she went on to handle operations, marketing and sales for two oil and gas service companies. Most recently she was the District Manager for Kelly Services for both Montana and Wyoming.
Cheryl was selected as one of the “Forty Under 40” recipients at the age of 29, has served on the executive committee for the Natrona County Republican Party, the Wyoming Republican Party, and the Wyoming Federation of Republican Women. She was on the community relations advisory committee for Sinclair Refinery. Cheryl has been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over twenty years. She currently serves as Wyoming president of the Young Professionals in Energy.
Cheryl is a lover of social media strategy, and works on managing campaigns for oil and gas initiatives, non-profits, political candidates and elected officials in her spare time. There is nothing she loves more than to see an idea start to trend and bring important coverage to an important subject.
Cheryl is married to her partner in crime, Jared. Together they love to play golf, travel and try local dive restaurants all over the U.S. She has three children, Garrett, Hailey and Camden. The three of them keep her very entertained and engaged with their activities and sports.
