The Central Wyoming HR Association of SHRM is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management; the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Founded in 1948 SHRM currently represents more than 210,000 individual members and has more than 550 affiliated chapters and members in more than 100 countries.

The chapter was formed in 1978 as the Central Wyoming HR Association. The first meetings were held at the Ramada Inn (now the Parkway Plaza) and continued there until the economic bust of the early 80’s. During the mid to late 1980's we barely hung on with as few a five or six members at any one time. We started to grow again in the early 1990's and started meeting at the Casper Petroleum Club. We have recently changed our meetng locations to various Casper locations or Zoom.  Please watch for emails and Facebook updates on meeting locations.
