    This months speaker is:

    Jaime Davis provides training and education seminars for businesses, individuals and education institutions. Jaime has worked in higher education for over 15 years and remains committed to increasing effectiveness to best sustain student success.

    In addition to her positions in higher education, Jaime is the President of Beacon Harbor Services, an organization that offers speaking and training services for organizations across the country.

    Jaime serves on the Board for the COMEA Shelter and Zonta Club of Cheyenne; and serves on the Police Civil Service Commission. Jaime is also active in her church and volunteers with music and women’s ministries. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and is nearing completion of her PhD in Leadership. She is a dynamic public speaker, and has spoken at the Empowering Women Conference, Women Ignite Idaho, and other leadership seminars.

    Jaime and her husband, Joshua, relocated to Wyoming in 2014. She enjoys music and the arts. In her spare time, Jaime can be found in the kitchen creating culinary masterpieces for friends and family to enjoy!

    Communication is the key to connecting with people. In this session, we’ll discuss the four primary communication styles; determine your communication style; and identify how to flex your style to develop better communication with your team. At the conclusion of the session, participants will:

    1.            Recognize behaviors of assertive and responsive people;

    2.            Understand the four primary communication styles and the traits associated with them;

    3.            Identify when communication style strengths can become weaknesses;

    4.            Recognize communication cues to determine the primary communication style of another; and

    5.            Understand how to flex the primary style to communicate more effectively with others.
