David Zwisler, Attorney and Director of the Mountain States Employers Council's Northern Regional Office, will be presenting on recent changes in decisions with the NLRB and what rights exist for both employees and employers.

The National Labor Relation Act: What EVERY Employer Needs to Know.

The 1 hour session will introduce the basics of the NLRA, including employee and employer rights.  What does it mean when law says that employees have the right to “form, join, decertify or assist a labor organization” and to engage in “protected concerted activity”?  The program will cover some of the more recent rulings from the National Labor Relations Board and their impact on EVERY employer.  The NRLB has issued decisions that impact employers in some of the most fundamental ways including at-will statements in a handbook, workplace investigations and employee’s use of social media.  Do you know what you can (and – more importantly – cannot) do?

This programs is pending HRCI certification credit.
