    Mark Bower, a Six Sigma Black Belt with the Wyoming Machinery Company, will be presenting information about the Six Sigma origin and use and the DMAIC process as well as a brief summarization of completed projects at the Wyoming Machinery Company.

    Six Sigma is a business management strategy originally developed by Motorola, USA in 1986. Six Sigma seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects (errors) and minimizing variability in manufacturing and business processes.


    Mr. Bower's life experience ranges from the United StatesMarine Corps, the Natrona County Airport Crash, Fire and Rescue; the Casper Fire Department; the Wyoming Medical Center and Wyoming Machinery Company.  For the last ten years Mark has work in the Human Resource and Organizational Development disciplines.

    Since 200 Mark has been active on several boards and with a number of associations; such as the American Heart Associate, the Blue Envelope Health Fund, and the United Way of Natrona County.

    This program has been approved for one General recertification credit hour toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
